An Office with a View

I worked a public job for many years which didn’t really bother me until my wife and I began our family. Once our first baby was born I was heartbroken to have to leave him at a day care center all day long while my wife and I worked. It was expensive and I didn’t think it was a healthy choice for my little guy. That’s when I started looking into jobs where I could work at home and not have to take our son to day care.

It didn’t take long before I came upon an opportunity that offered a way to earn extra money from the comfort of my home. Extra money was OK, but I needed to be making close to what I was earning at my job. What I found was amazing; I could make as much or as little as I wanted without having to leave the house.

When my son was six months old, I quit my job and began working full time from my home office. I needed to be able to make money at this business; I couldn’t settle for just a few extra bucks. I devoted full time effort into my home business and it paid off big time. Within three months I was making more money in one month than I made in three months at my job. Plus I didn’t have to pay for day care or gas for my car to drive to work or business attire.

The cubicle I worked in at the public job I had didn’t have a single window to look out of. I never knew what the weather was going to be until I left the office for the day. But now, the view from my office is spectacular. My desk is in front of a huge bay window that looks out into my back yard. I have numerous bird houses and feeders so I get to bird watch while I make money to help support my family. It really doesn’t get any better than this.

I started my home business two years ago and today we will soon give birth to our second child. The pregnancy has been such a pleasure because one can actually rest if one get tired. When you work a job and you’re pregnant, you don’t really get any special treatment. You are expected to continue to hold up your end of the deal even if you need to take thirty minutes to put your feet up and relax. It's a privilege to be able to make money to provide for my family and still have the luxury to take a break whenever I need or want to. My usual coffee breaks include a play session in the back yard with my son; how sweet is that?

Being my own boss and loving it

I spent far too many years working in a job earning way less than what I was worth only to watch my bosses get rich while I struggled from one paycheck to another. Then technology opened a whole new world to me in the way of work at home jobs. With the dawn of the Internet there were literally hundreds, if not thousands, of legitimate home businesses at my fingertips.

After spending considerable time researching the different opportunities and listening to some very useful home business tips, I finally settled into the perfect home business and began to make money the first week into it. I began slow, working at it part time until I built up a strong clientele. Once I became well established I quit my job and began working my home business full time. I didn’t expect to get rich overnight and I knew I would have to devote myself to my business. Within three months of quitting my job, I was making three times the income a month as I had been, right from the comfort of my own home.

Once I took the time to learn to earn money through my home business and then began implementing those things I had learned, my income began to rise significantly. I began to realize just how much money my former employers were really making from the efforts of their underpaid employees. I was very determined to be successful and utilize all the home business tips I had at my disposal.

I began my home business five years ago and today I am financially secure and enjoying my life completely. I have shown many of my friends how easy it is to earn extra money by just working a few hours a week from home. It’s amazing how stress-free my life has become and how great it feels to be my own boss. I can sleep in late every day if I want. I can go to work in my pajamas if I want. I don’t work my life around my job; I work my job around my life. Never again will I be at the bottom of a very slippery ladder.

The best thing that ever happened to me was how poorly my bosses treated me. If I hadn’t been so fed up with the bureaucratic rat race, I never would have looked into any of those work at home businesses and I’d probably still be making somebody else rich. Now, I’m making myself rich and life couldn’t be better.
